I was under the impression that in 2001, all North America Pathfinders were equipped with the VQ35? I highly recommend you verify what motor you have.

There should be a plaque on your firewall tucked to the far passenger side, in the engine compartment. About 1/2 way down it will say "Engine Type"...

This should indeed be the case, unless someone swapped a VG33E into a 2001+ R50. :shrug:

You guys are so awesome! I love being a member of this board! I just bought a 02 Pathy with ODO 194k last week and those CarFax aren't as helpful as they promote. I'm glad I don't have to worry about getting a timing belt replaced ASAP! Thanks again!
