I got some rub issues on the inside frame rail and want to fix that problem...Almost had my hands on a set of cragger 8's but the blank-hole sold them to somone else where i thought we had somethin set up...anyways... more back space more outside the vechile yes or no? need new rims since my accident in may they are leaking air Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Precise1 Posted September 29, 2011 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Back spacing=spacing from the back of the rim as I understand it. 4" back spacing on a 8" wide rim means it locates on the center of the rim width. 2" BS on a 8" wide rim means it sticks out 2" farther (6" total) from the locating surface. It depends what tires you want to run and the stance you are after, but 6-8" rims with 3-4" back spacing seem to fit the WD21s best. Oh, you have an R50, I think the BS is a little more for them?? KovemaN Posted September 29, 2011 Share Posted September 29, 2011 An 8" wide wheel is actually 9" wide when it comes to backspacing. 4" backspacing on a 15x8 wheel gives a -12.5mm offset.
