BigDaddyChris.com
went through a thick mudhole today. like cake batter. on the way down the hill the motor got real hot, not overheated too bad, but certainly hot. sprayed out the radiator to get the mud out, runs cool now, BUT the fan is locked up, like, on all the time. turn the motor off and you cant turn the fan. did mud get in there? how do I fix it? silverton
Nothing really wrong with it being locked. just a bit more drag on the motor... at least it still works!

Dowser
Mine was stuck in the ON position for about 3 years. Just noisy. I was driving it around in -40 degree Celsius weather as well without issue. Temp just took a little bit longer to get up. At any rate, As stated, better to have it stuck in the ON position then not engaging. Could be a great time to do a Electric Fan swap so you can turn it off when you wish too.
