It babbles something about being a vehicle legally viable for commerce in the state of California. The answer is yes, if it says this it is most likely Cal model and not a 49 state unit. What is the difference for these vehicles? I really don't know but sometimes it goes as far as ECUs tuned slightly differently more smog control rather than power or whatnot.
