Cubby
I have a clunk sound coming from the passenger side dash (I think) on my 95 SE. I have taken the glove box out, tightened all dash bolts, adjusted the hood rubber stops but the noise is still there. Its a clunking sound like something is shifting during acceleration, stopping, or going over bumps. Any ideas?
denisb
Did you look at your body mounts?

Cubby
I checked and the body mounts are tight. Anything else?
denisb
Could be suspension oriented or door pins. Kinda hard to tell. Get someone to sit on the passenger side and listen to try to pin point it. Just thought of something else, I had a funny banging noise on my rig and it was a broken muffler hanger. The muffler would hit against the frame when torque was aplied to the motor. It was also banging when starting my truck too.
