 Don't fret, if you can get your stock Bose stereo out of the dash, this is a simple install. Locate the antenna wire, should be a pretty thick (0.25-0.5 inch, probably black) wire with a metalic plug at the end, which has a metal plug/tab in the center (at least that's how most all antenna wires are). Just plug the FM modulato in-line into the antenna, with the antenna wire going into the antenna input on the FM Modulator, then the output from there back into your stereo. The "12V power terminal" just refers to a switched power source. If you can locate the remote power turn on for the amp or a switched/accessory power source running to your stereo, use that. We're just looking for something that only turns on when the key is in the on or ACC position in the ignition. Otherwise, tap into a switched power source such as the cigarette lighter, or use a fuse tap and plug into a switched source in the fuse box ($1.99 part, ask your local auto shop for one and instructions, very easy to use). Connect the indicated wires for the modulator, find a ground, and you're done.

Thank you so much you are amazing, but i jsut have 2 more questions when you say to tap in to a power source i am not sure what to do with the 2 wires (male and female) where do i plug those? or attach them to? I am jsut not sure what to do with the wires for the 12v power terminal, also what is a "fuse tap"? i can see the wire for the cigarette lighter but i have no idea how it can connect to the "male and female" wires. ALSO where can i connect the ground? can i connect it to any screw, or do i need to attach it to a specific part of the car?

thank you again for your help so far

I believe you would just need to use one of the 12V (male or female) wires for power, and tape off the other. If you use a fuse tap, you could probably use the female connection. A fuse tap is just a metal tab that you connect to a bus fuse and then insert the fuse back into the fuse box, allowing you to draw power. This is kinda a last resort though, and you want to tap the side of the fuse opposite the power coming from the battery. It is much better to just locate the switched power wire or the stereo, the remote power going from the stereo to the amp, or the cigarette lighter. You don't have to cut any of these, just get a snap on wire splice (can't think of the official name at the moment). Either way, fuse tap or splice, they are cheap. Just ask the people at your local autoparts store and they will point you in the right direction. It snaps onto the wire you are trying to tap into, and also onto the 12V power wire you have. You would just cut off the male/female connector on the wire you are using.

Oh, and as for the ground, you could go directly to the metal frame and scrape off the paint before screwing in there or bolting to an existing bolt. But if you experience any feedback or distortion of the signal, you may want to run the ground to the stereo ground or directly to the battery. Audio components can be suprisingly sensitive to the quality and location of the ground.
