what is the best and affordable tow strap

I want to upgrade my front recovery point on my R50.

Yesterday I was stuck sideways on a trail, my buddy had his truck so I take out my 6000 pound

strap with metal hook and attach it to the front, driver side recovery point.

So @!*% happens, the strap unhook from his bumper and the hook went flying in the air and just missed

the driver window, passing just in front of the windshield.

So I made my mind, no more metal hook strap.

I just see on 4 wheel parts some tow hook and I wonder if they are universal

fit. Can I just unbolt my recovery point on my truck and bolt these on?

Some review I read enlighten fitting problem. Any of you guys have these hooks.

They are rated at about 10 000 and are very cheap.

Maikan, you can put a D-ring through your stock recovery loops and capture a nylon recovery strap with it. There are still metal ends involved, but everything is captured and unless you tear off a recovery point so it is far better than a hooked strap.

Yes, your recovery points are held on by 3 or 4 bolts and are easy to remove. They seemed quite sturdy and well attached to me...
