muddfildvaynes
Saw this on my Facebook this morning and I don't know if Shift220 has posted on here about it yet but it looks awsome and should help ease those wary about the SFD when it comes to the steering linkage even though its not that hard to make. Howie
Wait, you don't think THAT thing is hard to make? You own a machine shop or something?

muddfildvaynes
Well when he came out with the intial kit it came with a spacer you had to weld in which was not that hard at all....
exit34rocker1017
It might have not been hard but the whole point of designing this was because a spacer welded to a steering linkage to extend it is just not a good idea in any way. This new linkage is not only safe and strong to use, but it is completely new and bolts on. If I had a SFD and didn't have this new linkage, I would order it right away. shift220
There was nothing unsafe about welding a spacer into the stock linkage. The stock linkage is welded in many places from the factory. As long as it was done correctly there will not be any problems. You have to understand that the linkage that was modified was before the power-assist and therefore only felt what you could twist into the steering wheel. There are many advantages for this new linkage though: decreased linkage angles, super easy install and the "trick" look I'm expecting our order to be here in about a week or so and then we can figure out the "sell-alone" price.
