Frontier Rims and bolt patters

Ok, so I'm trying to get rid of these God-awful 22" rims I have, and I have a guy who is going to trade his 2005 Frontier rims for them. The only question I have is the stock bolt pattern for my 2003 4WD is 5.5" and the Frontier is 4.5" and is a 2WD...... is this the backspacing or something else? Would these rims even fit? they have 265 65 17 tires on them now. Thanks in advance for the input!

They will not fit because their bolt pattern is a lot tighter than ours (meaning the bolt circle is a smaller diameter).

So if he's buying the rims off my truck for his Frontier, then my rims won't fit his truck?

That's right. They're not interchangeable. The 05+ Nissan trucks use a 6 on 4.5" bolt pattern, the older ones use a 6 on 5.5" bolt pattern.

Thanks for the replies folks..... I bought the Pathy for what it is intended for, just the guy I bought it from put freakin 22"rims on it

just go buy some steelies like some procomps (Costco sells them, not sure how much though since we don't sell them in the shop. not in our shop, anyways) or what not. then just craigslist those bling blingies.

Yep, already have the 22s on Craigslist....

 

Have another guy who has 18" stock Titan rims, the bolt patterns match at 5.5", would those work??

No, the hub bore is to small on stock Titan rims. Be sure to check that also. You need a 100 mm min
