88pathoffroad
AFAIK, the only Nissan diesels Terraons got were 2.7L inline 4 cyl's. I have no idea, cause they didn't come to the US.
Diesel Boy
If you can find one over there in the US, it will bolt right up. You would need a whole raft of other stuff to make it work, like the dash module particularly for the rev counter guage, all the fuel system from the tank to the engine, you may get away with the existing wiring loom, just plumb in the glow plug and timer system, water sensor, fuel cut of solenoid and rev counter independantly. Could be done. Ring around, get some idea of what it would cost to get and auto electritian to do it. TD27 2.7l 4cycl Make sure you get the turbo model, the TD27t, the straight TD27 is highl unimpressive!!!
JonesyUSN
isnt there a v6 diesel maybe out of a Nissan patrol .. i think maybe a 4.2.. is it possible for that to fit. ive got my lift kits on order and i want a diesel in that thing.. i want the power they provide. its either that or put a 4.3 vortec in it. im not to worried about money.. i used to work for a dealership and i still get my employee price on parts.. so i can get the engine mounts for them and any engine i could ever want one of the guys i used to work with paid 1k for less that 30k miles 4.3 vortec and motor mounts.. he put it in his rodeo.. running like a champ ever since.. thanks for the help
