94 Pathy Posted August 3, 2010 Share Posted August 3, 2010 Alright all! So, I'm beginning to look for components to do my SAS. I'm curious to know who all out there has done this & what you used...If I should go with a Dana 44, or a Dana 60 if I run across a cheap on? Should I look for one from a Chevy, Dodge, or Ford? If price is right & I have the extra money, do I get front & rear so they match, or just regear the Pathy rear? Thanks for all your imput & knowledge. I'm not to knowledgeable when it comes to components like these. I'll be doing some more searching, but I know I can count on the guru's from this site. Once I get things hoping with that, I'll be dropping in the 383 Stroaker. Will take time, but that is my plans for the next few years. I want to geta start on it. D60 front. as for ford dodge.. etc.. depends, are you going to runt eh stock nissan T case? if so, then it MUST be a ford. however, 1 tons are going to be very wide. so narrowing htem is going to be expensive. to get a Ford D60 for the front, expect to pay about 1200 bucks. this does not include gears lockers.. etc. for the rear get a 14BFF duelly, and put single wheel hubs on it, should be about the right width, i'd have to check the numbers to get an exact measurement. there is nothing cheap about doing a SAS on a nissan.
