So basically my 1998 SE, with 173,000 kilometers is getting awful milage. I just changed all 6 spark plugs, spark plug wires, distributor cap, and rotor. I used to get 18MPG @ 70mph on highway, I now get 10.8MPG on highway going 55MPH. Can someone please help me on what it is? I looked around the internet, and the consensus is that it's something to do with ignition coils? Any help would be highly appreciated, since my trucks taking more gas than most v8's lol

XplorX4 is right, along with check the actual timing too. You must use a timing light for this and follow the directions in your haynes manual. Doing a valve adjustment might be another great rebound for the engine. As engines get older somtimes they need a little extra help making what they used too, even nissans.
