zack1978
HI everyone, I posted in the winter about the weird cel and poor mpg's on my 95 SE-V6 5spd. The truck was at three shops and the dealer and not one of them could figure it out. It was throwing codes for a O2 sensor (it was replaced) and a knock sensor, and it checked out perfectly. The light will only come on at random times, but it does not stay on at all times, and the mpg's are bad. Well it is still doing the same thing and I am at a total loss as to how to fix this. A friend said that the CAT might be old and worn out, and it would cause these issues. I am the original owner and the CAT is totally original. The truck has about 190,000 miles or so (the ODO stopped working two years ago at 182,000). I also noticed that the exhaust is starting to smell a bit bad. The truck does not burn a drop of oil at all. Could the CAT cause these issues? Thanks, Zack Edited May 17, 2010 by zack1978
