So upon doing research for A turbo R50, I remember something about a VG34E engine. went to the FS section and found the person selling the 90-94 VH45DE pistons and VG30DE rods. Went to here http://web.archive.org/web/20070813103317/www.nissanperformancemag.com/february05/pathfinder/ to read more about it. Now it made me wonder about the heads. IS it that you just have to keep the head from the vehicle you have, or do VG30E heads (post 87) flow better than our VG33E heads? Does anybody know?

the 3.3 heads use the same internals but are of a more efficent casting. And they have 10mm studs which you will be thanking if your tryig to put a turbo on it.

the 3.3 heads will go on any vg block but if it goes on a block that was or sitll is a 3.0 the water jacket holes in the head gasket need to be walked a litte to line up with both passages.
