putawaywet
89' Pathfinder needs a new AIV or I need to get rid of it. Ive searched everywhere but the dealer for a replacement and have had no luck. I did read somewhere that it can be removed with out affecting performance. If I remove it do I just cap both both hoses or connect them. I worry about not having the reed valves between the cat. convert. and the block. Don't have emission testing in my county (yet) so I have the option to remove it but wondering if it would be best to replace it. Anybody run into this before? morpheus
If you don't have e-testing, just plug it for now. When e-testing comes (it will eventually) just repair it then.
