Why A 3" Body Lift Cost Less Than A 2" Body Lift?

Been researching a lot on which BL to get. I'm planning on the SL, but since I aqcuired a Land Rover Discovery Series II ARB Bull Bar with winch mount for $50 bucks, after looking at how I will fab it, I'll need at least a 2" BL to fab it on. Otherwise it seems like my approach angle will be reduced as the Rover ARB is a bit bigger.

Anyways, I have found 2" BL to be $30-50 more than a 3" BL. Why is that?

cost of materials (more/less common= diff price) more demand for 3" kit means they can order more of them from builder, better price when ordering means better price for you.

Ah, that makes sense. Thanks for the reply.

Decided with the 3" BL from 4x4parts. Should be here next week, and will start installing in a month or so. Wanna get other small things and the transfer case put in first. Also got WARN manual hubs on the way too. Excited! Thinking about a 5 spd tranny swap in the future too.
