hello every body,

this is my first write in this forum

iam Abdullah from Kuwait

 

i have some question i hope you can help me

i like to performance my pathy 03 6-cylinder 3.5 manual trans ...

1- which is the best cold air intake system (k&n, fujita, ... )

2- did you think it is good to replace the original pulley with performance pulley ? did i need to change any computer programms ?

3- what the chip will do for the car ?

I am Dan living in Abu Dhabi. You and I have the exact same Year, engine, and transmission.

 

There really is almost no aftermarket support for a pathfinder here in the UAE, I suspect it's the same where you are.

 

I have an AEM dry air-filter and a custom air intake. I had the K&N for awhile but it let way to much sand in and I had to clean it all the time. With the AEM I almost never clean it and it filters very well.

 

I have not done my exhaust but I have heard from a guy that races a pathfinder that removing you middle muffler increases performance.

 

There are no computer mods for the pathfinder unless you have someone do a custom reprogram, And I will agree Tungsten that this is not a way you want to go.

 

If you really want the best street performance Light Weight tires and rims will help as well.

Well, It depends on the type of performance you want, really. More for the street or for off-roading?

Tungsten : i dont like very high sound

i heva change the middle muffler with Magnaflow.

What about the pully did i need to do chip if i instal the pully ?

but i did not like to do any thing with open my engine such ( camshift )

i like pully , filters , ect...
