well just because it's about minus 23 when i get up for work lately, i was wondering if it's possible to install a block heater into a '91 pathy. It's a v6 and its auto. i obviously know nothing and am planning on making a trip to the mechanic but just wanted to check if anyone else has installed one because i can't seem to turn up any results in my haynes manual, owners manual, or the internets. blah.

I asked this same question a couple days ago in the 86.5 - 89 forum. Apparently they came as an option, look up my thread, there is a member that might still be able to get you one. I think I'm gonna go with a stick-on oil pan heater myself.

Welcome lizzie!!

My solution to -23 degrees is to move... ;)

I'm supprised you can't find anything on them, they are a fairly common item.

Here is what wanderer was refering to.
