sorry for the double post but I have been searchin for a couple days now. can anyone point me in the direction of the rear seat mod that allows you to take out the rear seats to allow for more room for gear/sleeping?

un-bolt the 2 hinges @ the bottom of each seat.

get a drill 1/4" IIRC

drill off the expanded end of the hinge pin

use a hammer and punch to knock the pin all the way out

get a bolt & wingnut or use a lynch pin to replace the hinge pin

re-install hinges and use wingnuts or lynch pins every time you want to remove the seat bottom.

 

here's what the aproprieate lynch pin should look like. I got mine @ lowes for about 4 bucks each
