alternator question

I have a 86 nissan 300zx with a vg30e same as our pathy in it and it has a 70 amp alternator In was wondering u guys know if the pathfinder alternator is the same or close to a maxima alternator? Whatim getting at is that if a pathfinder finder alternator can fit into my z i want to upgrade to the mean green one that beastpath has recently bought. (180 amps ) The common swap in my car is the maxima alternator form like 89-92? and its 90amps so i was seeing if the maxima one is a direct bolt on for the pathfinder as well if it is i might try this mean green alternator. I normaly would just try it but since im ordering it online and its like 350 bucks with probably no return i want to make sure it works first lol

anyone? sorry to nag but mines failingin my car and would like to upgrade and not replace with the same ones that keep going bad from being over worked allthe time

The 89-92 Maxima alty is a direct bolt on for the Pathfinder, with the exception of the pulley. The Max uses a serpentine (ribbed) belt, while the Pathy's use a V-belt. Simply swapping the pulleys solves the issue.
