i am new to this site just got my pathfinder about two weeks ago 95 xe bone stock the tranny has had a rebuild done to it about 8000 miles ago so today i took it through a little mud messed around in the mud for about 10 minutes didnt use 4x4 it wasnt that serious well i left and would go through first and second fine but no 3rd gear or over drive tranny fluid looks normal doesnt smell burnt if any one knows what happened plz let me know dont know much about them plz help :shrug:

There is a diagnostic section in the FSM (Factory service manual). It is downloadable from the garage section. If you have trouble, let us know.

 

I highly recommend not driving the truck before any trouble shooting. Do you have an aftermarket tranny cooler??
