Chatter after timing belt replacement

So, I recently replaced the timing belt on my 94 hardbody v6 4wd with little problems thanks to the write up on this forum. Upon completion I noticed a chattering noise coming from the front of the engine when the clutch is let out. Trusty Haynes manual first soulution was to adjust the free play in the clutch pedal but when I did that to the point where the noise stoped the clutch slips. Back it of and the clutch preforms fine but has that noise when released. Any ideas? Thanks again to 5523Pathfinder for the great writeup on timing belt replacement.

The clutch seems to function fine. Doesnt slip, shifts easy. The only clue I got as to the clutch being the sourse is the noise when it is disengaged, pedal not depresed. Seems odd that the noise apears to be comeing from the front of the engine. Used a section of garden hose to try and pinpoint, gona try again in the morning to double check.
