No O2 sensor

Hi all,

 

I was looking under my truck today, and i noticed that when the PO had the exhaust done, they deleted the O2 sensor!! (explains my abysmal economy i think!)

 

Anyway, I'm looking for the cable that connects to the oxy sensor, but I can't find it? Anyone able to help?

Aint got one of those, either. It has Extractors and a straight through 2.5" exauhst. I'd expect there to be at least a couple of o2 sensors, but theres none at all. Am i correct in assuming that the ECU will be compensating by defaulting to a fuel rich map? I have no codes.

Well turns out I did, my bad.

 

The WD21's only have 1 02 sensor and yes it will richen up the mix without it

 

Shouldn't be too hard to find one on trademe.

the harness for it should be on the right side of the engine bay(drivers right). Below the whiper motor there should be a budle coming out of the firewall and some pulggs near the firewall. the O2 sensor uses 2 plugs, one is a single wire and the other is a 3 wire.

the 4 wires (in a jacket) run diagonally down the firewall to the to of the tranny there is a flat wire clip there on the tranny and another flatwire clip a little aft and 1/4 way down the other side of the tranny. from that clip it would go to the stock midpipe about 3" from where it met with the y pipe.
