So theres a guy selling 3" lift springs for an XJ @ my local offroad forum, and i figured that since the stock ones won't supply any lift for ours, cause they are nearly the same, will 3" xj springs yeild 3" for me?

Thanks, just had this quick q as ima have to make an offer soon

I just did this and posted about it.I used A Softer 3" lift spring for MY wd21

They were 3" xj springs from rough country. They are about 5% are softer than stock and 19" tall.

they gave me 3.25" before settleing

the gap in the rear used to be the same as the gap in the front. see how much they lifted.

Because they are so soft I would think that the ammount of lift gained would vary from pathy to pathy. and the heavier 4 doors might not bee too happy.
