Hey guys, my speedometer quit on me yesterday in my 97 r50. It started working for a few mins again then hasnt come on since. The speedometer ,odometer and trip counter are the only things that stopped working. My service engine soon light also came on but im guessing just because my guage stopped working. I think its just a wire that come loose but I havent taken my dash apart yet, anyone what to confirm or give me some advice on what it might be?? Anything would be appreciated. Thanks.

Is your cruise control working???? I willing to bet its the speed sensor! I still haven't got mine fixed yet!

Hey guys, I got the pathy scanned and I got 2 codes. 1 being the speed sensor A and I got a P0325 knock sensor 1 circut bank 1. Anyone know what the knock sensor is for??? I dont hear any knocking... Thanks.

Hey, keep me informed on how your speedsensor situation turns out, as far as replacing/fixing it, cost? price of parts? etc.

Eventually, I'll get mine fixed but it just keeps falling down the list of priorities.....LIFT FIRST! Lol. I've been using my GPS as my speedometer! Its pretty accurate.
