Scottzilla
Here are the radio wire colors for my '89 Pathfinder. Hopefully they match yours. (The colors in () are the equivalent color on standard aftermarket stereos) Brown = Left Front Speaker + (White) Brown/White = Left Front Speaker - (White/Black) Black = Right Front Speaker + (Gray) Black/White = Right Front Speaker - (Gray/Black) Green = Left Rear Speaker + (Green) Green/Black = Left Rear Speaker - (Green/Black) Gray = Right Rear Speaker + (Purple) Gray/Red = Right Rear Speaker - (Purple/Black) Red/Green = Constant Power (Yellow) Green/White = Ignition Power (Red) I connected the ground wire (Black) to a metal chassis part. Hope that helps!
edicer2
you can also take a test light and find the positive(constant power) wire, then find the acc wire. Then once you find those two i take a 9 volt battery and take one of the extra wires and touch it to the batter. if you dont hear anything then drop one of the wires and do it again with a different one and so on until you finally hear a speaker make a crackle noise. then you found the two wires for that speaker. then do the same for the other for speakers and the wire left is going to be the ground lo. thats my way if ppl are dumb and dont just buy the 5 dollar harness lol works for me and I have never wrecked anything i personally always just buy the harness Edited March 30, 2009 by edicer2

Kingman
I'm sure you'll find running your own speaker and power wires easier in the long run and more reliable if done correctly.
edicer2
yeah i always rewire my own speaker wires and just find the constant power and the acc cord and make my own ground. works alot better that way.
