need instructions replace lower ball joints on 89 pathy

I just bought a 89 Pathfinder XE. It is in really good shape but it needed new tires and a alignment. Come to find out though it needs new lower ball joints too. I don't really want to pay the 400 it would cost in labor so I decided to do the ball joints myself. I have changed out ball joints before but on a 65 Ranchero. I assume that it is similar but would like some instructions if any one could help me out that would be great.

Hey never mind about the help. I found the instructions on the autozone web site. They have instructions with pics for all kinds of things.

If the instructions don't mention it, you need to remove the CV shaft to replace them. Otherwiase straight forward R&R.

I appreciate that bit of info. It dose not mention that in the the instructions. But I will keep it in mind when I go to do it.
