I know that the SEMA show in vegas is not open to the public, but me and my wife were talking about our vaction this year and the 08 show popped up on tv and she started asking about it. I told her that its not open to the public but she still wanted to go to the show this year. So I guess what im asking is, is there any way that me and her could get into this years show? Anybody have a connection that would be willing to sell us two tickets? Any other ideas on how I could arrange it for us to get in to the show.

TIA

I've got a friend from HS that he and his dad go every year...I was supposed to meet them there this past year but i let the date slip and forgot to call him until the event was over...I"ll see how they get tickets b/c they're "general public" in my book even though he owns his own wholesale car lot which is rather small...but he did have one of the few GT500's for a while and just sold it not too long ago but I can see if he knows a way in but I doubt they'd sale their tickets b/c they've gone for the past 3 or 4 years now

This is what I got in a response from him...I just X'd out his dads company

If you go to the Sema website there is a place for registration, the first time you plan on going you have to kinda like apply, with your business, interest, and whatnot. I believe tickets are something like $15 each. Then if they accept you, they will have your tickets once you get out there, only problem is you have to have 2-3 items proving that you are connected with that business. For example, my dad showed his business licenses, and salesmen licenses, I think I showed my salesman licenses, and a business credit card with xxxxxxx company and my name with ID. After the first year you are in the system and can just pay the ticket price and they mail them to you.
