95FinderOfPaths
I have a bone stock 95 V6-XE automatic and plan on putting a 3 inch body and 3 inch suspension lift on 33x10.5x15's... i have been told by a friend that suspension lifts on automatics are very difficult to do. Also i have read that a body lift isn't made for 95's but one from an earlier year can be modified to work. I would love some input on what needs to be done to an automatic in comparison to a manual transmission. I am a Newbie so any advice or suggestions would be very appreciated.. 91PathSE
A suspesion lift will be the same degree of difficulty on an AT/MT...SL's are pretty easy with our trucks. THe body lift part though I'm not sure. Edited January 12, 2009 by 91PathSE
GrimGreg
Yeah, SL/BL both make no difference with tranny type. If you want a BL kit that is ready to go for your 95 go to AC 4x4parts.com, they have the same Performance Accessories kit, but they have added in the correct bolts for the rear of your truck.
