Nismojunky Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 well my pathy has been doing this for a wile i dont know whats going on with it. when its cold out it wont start up, it will turn over backfire then stall out, unless i hold the gas down at a 2000 rpm idle for a few mins untill everything is warm then runs fine, and will start fine once hes warm???? any ideas its driving me nuts...., and it backfires when im slowing down if that has anything to do with it. WiredWrong Posted November 23, 2008 Share Posted November 23, 2008 when was the last time you did a tune up ? the engine is missing...not running on all cylinders – running rough – hesitating etc. Usually something like the need for a tune up, spark plugs or spark plug wires are the culprit of misfiring.
