a/t power switch

94 4wd automatic pathfinder,..........i have a new switch, it seems to work as far as auto and power mode,

illuminates when the lights are turned on...........but doesnt flash when the engine starts or the test procedure is done,

is there any ideas why or just a bad wire somewhere? i did the resitance check at the tcu and its about 36 ohms.

i was just wondering if this is a common problem or someone knows a solution.

I would go to a wrecking yard and get a used one, swap it out, and see if it makes a difference to start.
