Mine touches the crossmember at times too. I've been planning to mess with that some day. I would probably cut a notch out of the xmember, then weld an angled/gusseted plate across the bottom below the cut-out to keep it laterally sound.

lol I do appreciate you laying on the ground for me Slick.

 

Anyone else have any shots of the crossmember that goes below the rear drive shaft, after they have modified it so it clears, no problems?
