jpawela
Hi, I searched a bit, nothing similar came up to my problem. I was doing my own tire rotation the other day and I noticed that when my front end is just barely off the ground, and I can spin the wheels, half the tire rubs on the ground and the other half doesn't. I get this symptom on both sides. If I try to spin them somewhat fast, it looks as though the wheel wobbles (in an up and down motion). Is this normal or do I have issues, such as a bent axle? BTW, ever since I bought this truck, I've always had a vibration on the highway, even with new tires!
yozsi
if you have new tires, i would check if your wheels are bent. you will probably find out that they are.
jj big shoe
See if the reard do it too. If not, swap 'em and check again.
unccpathfinder
hmm check the wheel bearings I would find it hard to believe that you have been 2 wheels on opposite sides of the truck....theres an easy check for wheel bearings where you grab the wheel at the 12 oclock position and the 6 oclock position and apply a couple (pushing force on the top and pulling on the bottom) and vice versa...if you get play (wobbling) then the bearings need to be checked (possibly replaced) and reset to the proper preload if the lugs weren't tightened down you would see this problem as well since the wheels are lug centering
Chriskaw440
its rare but I have actually had 'bad tires' before, new ones.....had vibration problem checked and they said I had defective tires so they replaced them for free. (out of round...) Like anything made these days, always the chance of getting a defect (although TWO would be kind of surprising.....) My guess would be warped/bent wheels or bent spindles......something like that maybe.

I get very slight movement laterally. I mean very little. Is that normal? Nissan said that they're fine (I had them check it while I had my last tranny flush). However, I'm starting to doubt their work ethics.
