I need to get a new MAF sensor and my only options are wreaking yards or go straight through Nissan. Can't find any wreaking yards in my area with 1988 pathfinders so I’m asking what else will work? What other years will have the same MAF sensor as my '88? Other vehicles?

 

Also should I even get a used one? I don’t really want to have to go through this all again. Is it worth spending the money for a brand new one?

You *may* be able to use the one off the Z24i trucks too.
That's the MAF my truck has on it now. They're the same TB. If you don't have any luck finding one, I may be able to scare one up for you next week sometime.
