i have a problem, when i turn my key right off my accessory power still remains on. thus over a length of time it drains my 2 batteries. Now this is where it gets trickee, if i turn the air con fan on after the key is out the power disapears and all is fine. if you turn the fan off the power does not return the same thing happens if i turn the window wipes on and off. it is like there is a relay/capacitor that is sticking and when you apply a load to it, it is enough to brake the circuit and power all goes off like it should.

Any one had something similiar where i can start to look.

WEIRD. I'm not even sure where to begin, but I'll venture a couple of guesses.

Check your battery connections, particularily the fusible links at the positive terminal.

Check/clean the contacts on your ignition switch.

A couple of tests.

Pull the fuse to the wipers, and/or blower motor. If the condition goes away with one of those fuses gone, you know the problem could very well be in that circuit.

the way to diagnose a draw problem is easy, pull the negative battery cable and wire in a light bulb, doesnt matter what kind, could be a tail light or whatever. then start pulling fuses, when the light dims alot or goes out you found the circuit that is drawing the power. how simple is that? of course at work we dont use that way, we normally use a multimeter with a amperage clamp.

basically you take the negitive wire off the battery, wire the bulb in between the negative cable and the negative post of the battery. dont worry, the light isnt gonna blow up or anything.
