g5mike Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 I do not know what my brother has done in terms of tranny fluids,he probly used any ol thing,anyways I want to swap it out,if he indeed use GL-5 would it be fine to go back to GL-4?I find GL-5 has too many detergents,also I read about putting 5 litres in not 3.5,what side needs to be jacked etc.. to get all the tranny fluid out? Simon Posted December 9, 2007 Share Posted December 9, 2007 GL-4. To get the fluid out, simply take out the drain plug at the bottom. It'll all come out.
