92 Pathfinder Se Hesitation Question....

My 92 Pathfinder runs great, but it seems sluggish with the AC on. Does anyone else experience this? I'm not expecting the truck to be a powerhouse, it does have 165k on it. I have changed the plugs, cap, rotor, filters, etc. Any help would be appreciated.

A/C robs a huge amount of power from an engine it's quite the increased load (both mechanical and electrical) That's pretty much how it is on most vehicles in the same power range.
