wheel366
So, today I went to see a new mechanic about my missfire. It turns out that he had another pathy at the shop. After running some quick tests on my truck, we went over to the other one. It turns out that the other pathy missfires around 1500 rpm just like mine does but mine is more pronounced because of the headers, high flow cat and exhaust. Can some of you that have 95ish pathys confirm that yours do the same thing? Mine exhaust is really loud so I hear it more. It may be quieter on a pathy without the same upgrades as me. Thanks! 88pathoffroad
Cap and rotor still good? Plug wires? They tend to cause problems like you're having when they have something wrong with them.
wheel366
All new within the past 15k miles. However, the cap and rotor are around 10k old. I was thinking aboutr replacing the plugs and wires anyways but the other truck did the same thing. I feel like I am chasing a ghost.
PATHRIDER
mine did the same thing about 4 months ago and just recently found out that one of my injector is bad. You might wanna have your injectors checked also. I also did a complete tune up on mine about 5-6 months prior to this happening so I was sure it wasnt my caps rotor plug and pli\ug wires
