There are 4 plugs going to my cluster, would it make sense that the furthest plug to the right (nearest the tach) is the tach controller? It's a 95XE if it matters.

 

I see several white wires and some yellow ones, anyone have some input here? I want to get this thing done tonight.

Dunno if you still need this info but there is a 4 pin plug with a Black wire (Earth) A White wire with a black trace (+) A Black wire with a white trace (going no where) and a White wire with silver dots up it ( signal )

Hope that helped and hope yours is the same as mine.
