Pathfinder-jay Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 Hey guys... something weird is going on in my pathy... when I hit bumps my trunk and center light come on... and off....I checked all the doors/trunk but it doesnt do much... Mr. Pickles Posted March 29, 2007 Share Posted March 29, 2007 Been posted many many times, its usually your rear hatch is not closing tight enough. Go in back and loosen the 2 bolts that hold down the metal latch hoop on the floor in the very back of the cargo area where the rear hatch closes, then try sliding it back as far as possible and tightening the bolts. Others have had luck wrapping some tape around it (temp fix) or adding a washer or 2 under the hoop. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
