armelius1
Won't move backwards or forwards. Appears to be using juice, will move up and down. Does this have anything to do with the power seat memory? Can't find anything about the motor on the internet. 2001 Pathfinder with about 107k miles. OBXbeachpathy
cool, I had that happen on my Denali and it turned out to be a $600 part.
armelius1
It's looks like a 45 bux part. It looks even more difficult to put on. After looking at it and thinking that hitting it would be cheaper, I hit it about three times before it started working. Just like a starter. 88pathoffroad
I believe there's a TSB about the seat motor.

I am having the same problem.

I think you'll find that any mechanical component in the seat adjusting system will be expensive. Moreover, the dealership will most likely only provide a complete seat adjuster assembly. Very rarely will a dealership provide components for an adjuster system as they are normally provided by a Tier 2 supplier as a seat complete assembly. If memory serves me correctly there is an issue with the "memory" motors on these seat adjusters whereby the motor brushes hang up.
