just replaced the OEM clutch in my 95 and the clutch seems to be about 1/2 as stiff...is there a diff in the oem and replacement or is this just normal...i know my 87 droppedl ike this with no problems iwth its new clutch...didnt know if the forks were diff or what.... :shrug:

Where did you get the clutch? There is a alternative clutch kit from nissan. Its called a Key Value kit. Ive installed several and almost every customer complains of it feeling softer. On some i have adjusted the master cylinder pushrod and it helped. But, that may be your issue.

sweet...got it finished up in right about 18 hrs i was figuring that the pressure plate material had a different stiffness causing it esp after i saw the action of the slave cylinder was normal...

 

now im thinking the flywheel has a wrong pitch or something...it makes some bad noises as it fires up but i'll get on it sometime soon...but so far so good she's running great...
