BLouisGod
Theres a wooshing sound coming from the top / front of the engine. It has a rhythm, but I can kind of pinpoint it coming from the distributor or the cap, however there is no vibration at all. Has anyone heard anything similiar to this on their wd21s? Im hoping it is the distributor cap...! thanks for any insight.

5523Pathfinder
If your timing belt is wearing, it will transmit noise and vibration through the distributor. When was it changed last?

When was it changed last? dunno, just got the truck last week. its need to go in to have it checked, also it needs new drive belts... the sound just started today after about 20 miles of driving; truck has 130000m on it. 5523Pathfinder
If you put your hand on top of the cap while its running, you will feel the vibration. Yeah, at 130k, your ready for timing belt #3!
