Morning all!

Has anyone tried to shorten a shifter on auto tranny. Im not sure but I think ive seen on my manual before that the tranny is being shifted thru cable.

Im going to do a body lift also and will it raise up the console on the shifter?

Since it is cable, the BL has no effect on the shifter height.

As for shortening it, it probably wouldn't bee too hard, just have to be carefull of the wiring. I would assume just pull the handle part off, remove the square shaft cover and cut the shaft, then cut the suare cover to match and reassemble. probably have to shorten the lock rod also. (The cable attaches under the selector area, so it wouldn't even be part of the equation.)
