my autolock hubs on my 92 wont lock any more, went out and got a set of superwinch manual hubs from purenissan.com they dont fit. the axle spline on the pathy is smaller then the hubs. who makes a set that actually fits? and does n e one know what the ones they sent me were for?

thanks :aok:

I put Warn manual hubs on my 91. Went to a Off-Road store to buy. Didn't have any issues about not fitting. unccpathfinder is right about getting grade 8 bolts. I used them due to studs not being long enough. that was the only issue i have had with them.

superwinch do NOT make ML hubs for the 28 spline pathys. summit did the same thing to me.. they fit a damn 3/4 ton chevy tho  (31 spline)

milemarker and warn make the hubs for us 28 spliners. i have the MM's and they have worked great for me...... until my diff gave out.. now i have reliable hubs adn no diff = no 4wd.... :angry:P...

the MM's are $85 from summit and the warns are about $145.....

*note* the MM's are good, and reliable for mild to medium runs.. if yer gunna go hardcore or "uber rough" wheelin then you may want to lok into warns ;) i have heard from a few peeps under extreme wheeling conditions the MM's tend to blow occasionally.

i did post the year/spline somewhere. and to my memory. 87-89 were 27 spline and 90 - 95 are 28 spline and beyond are 31 spline..

Slick got it, Superwinch doesnt make hubs for the second gen wd21. Slick, whatever happened to your diff?

sssh not quite sure. when i can finally drive king caca i am gunna down mini me and drop the diff, let dave play with it, change my cv's, fix the oil pan leak, and do a few other things to her. i'll know more when we pull the diff cover ;)

I see, cant wait to find out, these things arent prone to failure. Oh BTW, these are called hubs, lockers are things that lock your diff together, although I suppose you could get away with calling hubs lockers.
