I finally decided....the Lock-Rite is on the way

Finally decided to get a locker before a lift after much research. I figured, based on my past wheeling experiences, I would have made use of a locker many more times than 3" as I seldomly seem to high center. Saved the money and ordered the lockrite today.

 

Anyways, I just thought I would warn you guys that I will probably be posting a few questions in the next couple weeks (whenever I get the time to put it in) about install. Not very much mechanical experience, but might try to learn so I don't have to pay a shop!

 

Can't wait, this will be my first major mod!!!!!!

If you've never had the experience of opening up a rear diff yourself, you might want someone that has done it on hand to help. It isn't easy.

I was kind of wondering about that. One of my friends knows quite a bit about vehicles, but has never opened up a diff. Another friend has installed a lockrite in his tacoma, but if none of us feel comfortable about it, I'll have to see if any Nissan guys in the bay area would be willing to help out.
