AC 3inch Body Lift

I believe the AC 3 icnh body lift comes with a transfer case extension. Does this mean that it takes care of the problem with the shifter being to short? Do, I don't have to get a HB shifter?

None of the BL kits come with a t-case lever extension. You gotta make it work all by yourself. A HB shifter works, too.

so if i was to pick up the AC 3" body lift, exactly what other work would i need to do to drive it? something about the shifter?

you may get lucky and not need an extension I didn't on my 91

Here's how I fixed Rami's shifter after the body lift:

 

 

Excuse the semi-crap welds, the shifter is solid bar stock and the sleeve I welded on is about 3mm thick...I used an old UCA bushing sleeve!

I also didn't do anything to either one of my shifters after 3" body lift on my 91. boot is a little squished is all. still works fine.

Same here, and I've been driving on it almost 2 years now. We had snow and ice this week, so I was shifting in and out of 4-low and 4-hi with no issues. The boot looks squished and crappy, but it works fine.
