FLApathy
Ok, ive got me Tbars unhooked from the LCA, how the hell do I get the the tbar out, does it slide out the cross member or do i have to take the cross member off?
k9sar
remove the E-clip from under the dust boot in teh cross member. That'll allow it to slide backwards
FLApathy
Yay I got it, thanks K9 but what I did was unbolt the 3 bolts on the Tbar and LCA, then I unbolted the Tbar cross member and pulled it and the tbars back and it worked.
Precise1
Bingo, you generally have to loosen the front 3 bolts or the spline binds. B
FLApathy
LOL, I knew at pne point they had to off but since this is my first time ever playing with torsion bars and I was alone I wanted to get some help from you guys.
Precise1
No problem, thats why we are here. I guess I meant to say that even with the rear crossmember removed, the T-bars generally won't slide out of the front mounts unless you loosen the front 3 bolts so it has some play.
