Spawn2380
People I'm rebuilding my path wiring but now I found myself lost with the wires that goes to alternator body. There are 2 big screws, the positive and negative terminals of the alternator. The one with the isolator is the positive that goes direct to the battery, right??? The other big wire goes to ground. But there are another two wires that goes to a T shaped plug. I understand that they come from tha external voltage regulator but how to know wich one goes were (+ or -) or there aro no difference in that plug. Anybody know???? I dont want to plug them in the wrong way and kill my batt, regulator or alternator.

88pathoffroad
There is no external voltage regulator. T-plug? On what? Mine has a positive post, negative screw and one plug with two wires, one is the field wire to "turn on" the alt, the other is for the dash warning light.
