Hi everyone, Recently I was wondering what exactly comes with the BOSE stereo option. Is it just the amplified sound....is it a different deck...or is the speaker quality different. If anyone knows what the BOSE stereo really comes with please respond.

I have a 03 Pathy and when I put in my satellite radio I didn't listen to what the instructions said. I really really really didn't want to drag several feet of wire throught the car just to mount the antenna. So what I did was mount the antenna on the driver side dashboard ....in the most left corner of the dash ...and the antenna picks up the signal without any problems. I mounted it with the double sided sticky provided in the kit and so far so good. I suggest that you do that since it will be easier for you to take the radio setup out of the car when you no longer want it. Hi Everyone, I have a 03 LE and I recently noticed that when I press the remote unlock key once the door doesn't unlock all the way and I need to press the button the second time to unlock the door. This doesn't happen every single time but when it does its really annoying. Any suggestions on how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

When I have the heat running in the wonderful Chicago winter time at lets say 78 degrees setting the heat is coming out strong...then when I want to lessen the intensity to lets say 68...the temp heat intensity stays the same. Now this sort of thing doesn't happen every time but when it does its really annoying. Any ideas as to what it might be? Did any one have this happen? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I have a 03 LE and I recently noticed that my hitch is starting to rust on the edges. I'm not too happy about this so I was wondering since I'm still under the factory warranty would they replace it free of charge? Holla Back!!!! Thanks.

Hey everyone, My local dealer is running a promo where you pay $70 and you get 6 oil changes in that price. So I'm prepaying for the oil changes. I found out that they use Valvoline and they don't offer any other oils. I've been using Pennzoil every since I got my Pathy which is about a year and 13000 or so miles. My question- are there any difference in between the oils? Should I be ok with the switch? Thanks.

Hey everyone, I have a 03 LE and recently I noticed a little vibration when the car is at idle. This isn't really significant where it shakes the car but u can feel it. It has about 26000 miles and I pour fuel injector cleaner every 3000 miles. Before during idle I couldn't tell the engine is running. Any thoughts??? Is there anything I can do to smooth out the idle????? Thanks

Thanks for the reply but what I'm looking for is my vehicle specific options from my car. Like a window sticker. Primarly I'm looking into finding out major this like: 1) Does my LE have VDC? 2) Does it have the tire pressure monitoring? These are only some of the things I'm looking to find out. I work for a BMW dealership doing finance and BMW has a system that by going to a BMW specific web site, one can input the VIN of the car and whallaaa, the printout of the window sticker is right there and can be printed out. I'm not sure if Nissan has something like that but thats what I'm looking into finding. If any of you know how to tell if my car has pt. 1 and pt.2 please help a brother out. Thanks

Hey Everyone, I bought a used 03 LE last Sept. and I absolutely love the car, however I would like to find out all of the options and the std. equipment that is on the car. Basically all of the info that was on the window sticker. I contacted Nissan and they were dumbfound as to what I was asking and they couldn't think how to get such info. I'm going to try again bc my feeling that the REPRESENTATIVE that took my call was clueless. In the meantime, do any of you know where I can go to get such info about my car. Yesterday I took my Pathy into the dealer to get this rattle noise checked...after several hours of waiting the dealer called and told me that the reason for the rattle were the exhaust pipes,on both sides and they are going to replace them and the gaskets ALL UNDER WARRANTY. JUST WANTED TO LET YOU ALL KNOW ON THE FINAL OUTCOME THanks for all of you input. Keep on truckin

I just took my Nissan in for some warranty work and I got bombarded with offers from the dealer to do the 15000 miles scheduled service and blah bla blah. They wanted like $300 for the service. My question is how many of you, Pathfinder owners, actually do the recommended interval maintanance, and---or how many do only the basic maintenance like oil, trans, ect without doing the whole dealer package. I realize thats where the dealer makes his money but are those intervals really necessary to follow them?? I'M INTERESTED IN YOUR THOUGHTS!!!!! thanks 03 LE with 24,000 miles

If I have 24000 miles on my LE should it be time to replace the belt?????? If so, then would that be covered under warranty??? Shouldn't the life span of the belts be longer than 24000 miles???? thanks

Hey everyone, This morning I started my car and the belt were sqeaking like crazy....what would be the best quick fix for this issue. I do realize that I might need to look into replacing the belts but for now what would work to quite the suckers down. 03 LE with 24000 miles thanks for the help

Hey everyone. I have a 03 LE with 24000 miles and I noticed for some time that when the Pathy is cold, and I rev the RPM's around 1700-1800 there is a metal rattle sound. Also the same sound comes up if the car is warm but it sits for like 20 min. and I drive it again. I looked under the car to check if anything is loose like a shield around the cats or something...but nothing is loose. In addition there is a different exhaust note...this can be noticed when I drive next to a wall. Does anyone know what it might be or experienced this or knows how to fix this??? Help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Will floor mats fit on a 03 pathy if they are for the 96-2001 model year? I don't think there were any changes during that time that wouldn't allow for the mats to fit. Thanks....any help is appreciated.

Hey everyone. I recently noticed that my belt sqweeks and it doesn't matter if it is wet or dry outside. I have a 03 LE with only 23000 miles. Can it be the time to change them?? ORRRRR Should I use a spray that stops the sqweeking. Thanks. :help:

Ok. I took the car on the lift checked every metal part that could be possibly loose and yet as soon as I drove off the lift it still rattled. Please help. Thanks

I checked the exhaust and everything around it and everything was tight. I'm not quite sure what else is there to check. Any other suggestions????????????????????? Thanks.

Hey. I have a 03 LE and usually when I accelerate I can hear a metal rattle sound. I thought it might be a heat sheild, but I checked and everything is tight. This sound isn't heavy meaning that it sounds that its a thin piece of metal. This only happens in the 1200-1650 RPM range. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks

Yo!!!! I concur with the previous reply. I have a 03 LE and mine does the same. I was concerned at first but after consulting my trusty manual I was reassured that its totally NORMAL. So......just keep on truckin'. I'm out.

Hey All. I'm thinking about putting in a K&N filter in my 03 LE. I had a K&N filter before but it was on a different car and different brand.....so my question is what should I expect from the drop in K&N filter in regards to performance and other specs. FEEDBACK VERY APPRECIATED. Thanks.
